SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS 

  • Planned and implemented initial marketing plans for a web2.0 video sharing startup. This project now has over 100 nationwide representatives on over 40 college campuses, along with an internal staff of approximately 20. Along with the marketing projects, I was also responsible for sourcing, screening, hiring, and remotely training these representatives.
  • Conducted business research and project development that ultimately led to the successful launch of a European based business in the United States. Responsibilities included establishing the entire recruitment and selection process, background screening vendor selection and management, sourcing and selection of all in house staff including Operations, Account Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, Corporate Counsel, and Human Resources. Development of "best practice" policies and procedures for multiple remote recruitment locations.
  • Instituted the use of interactive and graphic media advertising. Created innovative uses of Social Networks, Blogs and Web 2.0 technologies to provide potential applicants with a true view of corporate culture and rolls they would be working in. Consulted and developed advertising streams for the English and Irish sister companies. These methods are now standard recruitment advertising procedure across the North America, Europe, and Australia.
  • Initiated a global initiative to cross share skills and knowledge. Utilizing technology to bring all recruiters from each country together to share common concerns about recruitment and proven methods of success. This knowledge base was also used as a platform to explore new ideas and use both local and global knowledge to effectively geotarget recruitment strategies.
  • Created a foreign recruitment stream through identification of key student work exchange and cultural development programs. Worked collaboratively with vendor and traveled to South Africa to present to over 500 college students, and hand select 50 over a 5 day period.
  • Planned, developed and presented the recruitment potion of a week long forum hosted by the Global Holding company in Faro, Portugal. In attendance were National Recruitment Managers from England, Ireland, Austria, and Australia. Reviewed and developed strategies for country specific recruitment initiatives as well as focusing on the global business. Main focus presentation dealt with generation gaps and how we need to effective market our services and recruit different generations simultaneously, while maximizing our ROI.
  • Oversaw the design, development, and implementation of a custom in house HRIS and Applicant Tracking System. Administration costs were decreased, along with a drastic turnaround in start to hire date, background screening administration, payroll administration, and electronic capture and storage of HR necessary documentation.
